This was my third oil painting I completed from when I started painting. The other two I have no reference to. I painted this back in 1979 when I was 13 and back then my aim was to paint as realistically as possible. It was a good discipline and taught my a lot even though it was just a copy of a calendar photograph. I sold it at the Salvation Army in Waltham Abbey, Essex. Some of the money went to charity and I was in the local paper.
