He arranged with the National Theatre in London to display the illustration in the foyer along with the theatre's other artwork and then surprise her with the proposal after a play. As a Christian I supposed the giant slaying David would be just as applicable today when face with dangers. It may look pretty brutal but it actually tells a story of God's protection. In the bible Stephen is the first martyr for the Christian faith and who was described as having the face of an angel when being murdered. What we see on the outside is not necessarily whats going on in the inside. |
